“I’ve made it to Berlin. My quest to be an international artist continues. I’ll be here for two months working towards a solo exhibition this September with Lars at Bode Projects. Coming off somewhere under the rainbow… I question: What will I do here? I’m expected to make some large works with my time. Initially I thought of a complementary color palette. Last night I dreamt of Kirchner and his neon colors. I think that the iridescent pigments and the day glow pigment would really set it off.. Maybe a big shaped piece that spreads from one gallery to the next. I feel very blessed to be here during these times. I’m truly living my dream life and I’m still dreaming.”
