"Kubatana is one of the largest presentations of contemporary African art yet seen in Scandinavia, bringing together 33 artists from 18 countries. The exhibition is curated by the London-based, Norwegian gallery owner, Kristin Hjellegjerde, and among the artists on show are Aboudia (1983, Ivory Coast), Armand Voua (1978, Ivory Coast), Gonçalo Mabunda (1975, Mozambique) and Serge Attukwei Clottey (1985, Ghana), whose massive installation will be mounted on the façade of Vestfossen Kunstlaboratorium. Curated by Kristin Hjellegjerde."
